What's a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject. (TFL)

The episode (Summary)
Light tries using the second Kira to find out L's real name. However, L is well prepared for Kira's next move and is able to get one of the Kiras in his custody. (TV.com)

The episode (Recap)
Rem agrees to kill L and is able to at any time if Light tells her where he lives. However, Light decides that it is too quick to decide and tells Rem to wait until tomorrow for his answer. Misa then gives Light one of her three phones in order to talk without having their conversation tapped. Light will keep this phone off until he decides when to kill L. Ecstatic that they are finally acting like a couple, Misa talks on about their future plans. Wanting her to leave, Light kisses her and tells her to do so. Alone with Ryuk, Light tells him that he must kill L only when he has confirmed that he is the real L and not another proxy. Ryuk asks Light if he might have any second thought about killing L since L admitted to being his friend. But Light said that he was merely playing along. “Ryuga [L] is Light’s friend, but L is Kira’s enemy.” At the Task Force, L tells Mr. Yagami that if he dies in the next few days, then his son is definitely Kira. With no other suspects and Mogi’s evidence of Light dating multiple people, Light is the only prime suspect in the investigation. At the University, Light runs into L and is surprised that he would risk being seen in public. But L claims that he has nothing to worry about, since no one in the area, except Light, knows that he is really L. Thus, if he was to die, it would make sense that Light would be the killer. This explanation has Light doubt whether he should kill him sooner than later. To Light’s dismay, Misa comes over to join the two. But Light finds that this may be an advantage after all, since Misa can see L’s real name. L then starts to grin, saying that he’s jealous of Light dating such a well known model. Saying this soon brings up a large crowd around Misa until her manager arrives to take her away. Now all Light has to do is call her up and ask for L’s real name. Right as Light calls Misa, he hears her ring tone coming from L—L has swiped Misa’s phone when the large crowd was around them. Holding in his anger, Light politely asks for the phone to return to Misa later. As he walks away from L to call Misa on her second phone, L gets a call from his own phone this time. “Misa Amane has been apprehended on suspicion of being the second Kira.” With Misa’s capture, there is no doubt that Light’s capture will be next. But Light is far from surrendering to the likes of L. At the Task Force, the officers and L see Misa through a monitor. For security purposes, she has been restrained and blindfolded. Days pass and Misa says nothing about her involvement with Kira. Finally, she begs Rem to kill her. Rem hesitates, so Misa tries to bite her own tongue off. But before she does, Watari restrains her. Rem arrives at Light’s house, where she tells him that she has made Misa relinquish ownership of her death note. Doing this has erased all of her memories she has had with the note, including knowing L’s real name. She should be released by L in no time. Still worried for Misa’s safety, Rem reminds Light that she will kill him if Misa isn’t saved. With this as well as a new plan in mind, Light bids Ryuk goodbye. (TV.com)

- This episode covers Chapters 32-33 of the manga.
- Filler moment: Before Rem leaves Misa, she wipes the tears off of her face and brushes part of her hair over in the process. Not being able to see shinigami, L notices that her hair gets brushed over for no apparent reason.
- When Light calls Misa's phone that is in L's possession, you can hear the ED theme, Alumina as her ringtone.
